Who is Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçüker? Graduated from Hacettepe University English Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçüker completed his plastic surgery residency at Gazi University. Awarded "Best Experimental Study of the Year" at the World Microsurgery Congress (WSRM), he served as a clinical fellow in aesthetic breast surgery at Brussels University (UZ Brussel). Today, as an international master trainer, key opinion leader, and professor, he specializes in preservation rhinoplasty, composite breast surgery, deep plane facial rejuvenation, and advanced medical aesthetics at his private clinic in Suadiye, Istanbul.
Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçüker was born in 1978. After completing his primary, middle, and high school education in Samsun, he graduated from Ankara Hacettepe University English Faculty of Medicine in 2003. That same year, he commenced his formal surgical residency in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara.
Following a rigorous 6-year surgical residency, he earned his Plastic Surgery Specialist degree in 2009 with his pioneering experimental thesis titled "The Effect of Preconditioning with Denervation on Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Skeletal Muscle." This study was awarded "Best Experimental Study of the Year" at the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM) Congress held in Helsinki, Finland, in 2011.
In 2012, Dr. Küçüker began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University. In 2014, he further expanded his sub-specialty surgical repertoire by working as a clinical fellow in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery at Brussels University Faculty of Medicine (UZ Brussel) in Belgium.
Awarded the official title of Associate Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery in 2017, Dr. Küçüker continued his academic appointments at Istanbul Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine between 2018 and 2020, subsequently attaining the full title of Professor Doctor.
Throughout his distinguished career, Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçüker has received 8 national and international scientific awards, published nearly 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles in SCI/SCI-E indexed journals, and delivered over 100 lectures worldwide. He currently welcomes domestic and international patients at his private practice in Suadiye, Kadıköy (Bagdat Avenue), Istanbul.
His primary surgical specializations include natural preservation rhinoplasty, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, and deep plane facial rejuvenation (deep plane facelift, neck lift & blepharoplasty). Furthermore, he serves as an international key opinion leader, global master injector, and scientific consultant for premier biotechnology and medical aesthetic corporations.
Married to Eda Küçüker, Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçüker is the father of two children.
